Description
We, Assurance, act in Bangladesh as the eyes and ears of our principals: the P&I clubs or P&I underwriters, H&M underwriters, defense clubs, international law firms, entities comprising the marine risk industry that manage the complex risk environment in which ships operate. We provide our clients with early and effective advice on emerging and actual risk situations involving a ship of interests or its cargo in Bangladeshi ports. Subject to our principal’s approval we take early preventive action to mitigate or minimise the risks of potential claims & liabilities facing our principals.
Because of our extensive experience in Bangladesh and the region, we have full grasp of the conceptual & practical dynamics of marine risks and associated complexities. This understanding guides us to take appropriate measures & to suggest suitable strategies and tactics to deal with each risk situation holistically within the broad perspective, ensuring that the underpinning financial, economic and business interests of our clients are always in consideration.
In order to ensure that each instruction is managed with the desired outcomes in perspective, we approach every assignment as a ‘project’ whether it is related to management of a marine incident or a claim, whether potential or actual. Using ‘Total Project Management’ approach, we carefully scope and plan each work and where possible quote upfront for our clients to get predictable costs, timescales and outcomes.
