Barrister Ahmed Nadim Abdullah is practicing for several years in various legal sector, starting from company matters to family law; fraud cases to immigration laws; labour laws to Intellectual Property law and several other fields. He is working as a Senior Associate of FM Associates. Mr. Nadim has been assisting various foreign entities from Europe, American, Middle East Asia etc, in the energy sector of Bangladesh.
Mr. Nadim has worked on the 1st LNG Import Terminal project. He assisted the entity in drafting and reviewing required agreements, setting set up a local establishment by obtain all the necessary governmental approvals and maintaining the liaison with the several government authorities in order for smooth transection of the all the overall business.
He has advised several multinational companies in relation to establishing their Intellectual Property rights in Bangladesh, which includes providing detail opinion in relation to Bangladeshi IP laws, making search reports, identifying infringers and taking necessary legal steps, registering IP rights etc.
Mr. Nadim has also worked with the World Bank and IFC on various company matters, which includes assisting world bank in their project of Doing Business, advising IFC and assisting them in meeting with Bangladesh Bank in relation to Bangladesh Bank policies on foreign loans.
