Ms. Shaila Sabrin obtained her M. Phil, M.S. and B.Sc. in Nutrition & Food Science from University of Dhaka in 2012, 2010 and 2009 respectively.
Her professional experience started in Samorita Hospital Ltd. as Senior Dietician from September 2011 – March 2015; afterwards she joined to Gastro Liver Hospital & Research Institute Ltd. (now BRB Hospital) as Senior Dietician.
She has also worked with – ICDDRB as Field Research Assistant of Clinical Science Division (CSD); Glaxo Smith Kline (gsk) as Nutritionist; Guest Lecturer (Nutrition) at Nursing Institute Medical College for Women, Uttara; PRAN Agro (Food Group) as Nutritionist; Tetra Pak as Nutrition Adviser; Industrial Promotion & Development Company of Bangladesh Ltd. (IPDC) as Nutrition Counselor during her professional carrier.
She had gone through a training program on Management & Prevention of Gestational Diabetes Mellitius (GDM), organized by Combating GDM Project, Bangladesh University of Health Science, Darus Salam, Mirpur, Dhaka in 2012.
Now Ms. Shaila Sabrin is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Senior Dietitian – Dietetics and Nutrition.
