Environment Law Expert in Bangladesh

Maisha Muzammil is a motivated Legal Executive. She joined FM Associates Bangladesh in September of 2017 and in a short period of time has showcased her enthusiasm and interest in matters relating to women’s rights, application of international laws in Bangladesh, environmental law, natural resources law, corporate law and social responsibility. She is an avid worker, enjoys conducting in-depth legal research into spheres of law not acknowledged in Bangladesh and has had considerable exposure to global issues which has enhanced her understanding of international relations. 

Ms. Muzammil has completed her LLB (Hons) from the prestigious University of London, UK. She now holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law from the University of the West of England, UK after specializing in Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility, Globalization and World Trade Organization (WTO) Law, among others. 

Ms. Muzammil has shown great initiative early in her academic career, working as a volunteer, an outreach program coordinator for various debating bodies and she finished her mini-pupilage from a respectable law firm in her second year of studying law. While in the UK, Ms.

Muzammil worked at a top law firm in Bristol; learning the intricacies of how the legal sector operates in the UK, drafting various agreements, legal opinions and so on. She volunteered for pro bono legal work at notable NGOs in London to gather further experience and fulfill her passion for helping those in need. 

She is looking forward to working in Bangladesh to move forward with the development of the country into a transition economy, focusing on the booming energy sector and cross-border legal services to facilitate the rise in foreign investments.
